How To Take Root Measurements

Root Measurements are individual measurements from five fundamental reference points of one's body.

These measurements are:
  1. Bust Circumference;
  2. Waist Circumference;
  3. Hip Circumference;
  4. Center Back Length; and
  5. Waist to Ankle Length.

Preparation Before Taking the Measurements:

  • Wear undergarment, leotard, or form-fitting body suit made from nylon/lycra.

  • Ask someone to help taking the measurement.

  • Use flexible tailor measuring tape.
